Heaven Is Listening

We were up until 2am preparing everything we felt we needed to prove to the judge that we are worthy of our kids and will take good care of them. It was the last big hurdle of preparation since the bags are pretty well packed now.

At 6:15 am, the phone rang. Our good coordinator had done exactly as he said, waking up VERY early his time and calling Ukraine to find out our status. I think I wasn't fully awake, but running full speed toward the phone when it rang. Marsh got to it first. When I overheard words "green light", I went running through the house cheering. Marsh, however, was subdued when he got off the phone just a moment later. He then filled me in on the facts.

Nastia's paperwork was mailed from the regional office on May 23rd. It is June 6th and is still not in the office. However, the SDA does have us scheduled for an appointment on Monday the 11th. (They decided to keep the office open on Monday after all.)

To make a long story short (there are a lot more fun details I can't give right now because we are rushing to be ready to leave), apparently the fact that her paperwork is not there this moment is not a concern. However, there are only three days left for it to arrive so we will turn our faith and prayers in that direction.

Lastly, we only have a ten day window for Marsh to work in now due to his work responsibilities. As wonderful as it is to be hopping on a plane and moving that much closer to our kids coming home, we still need to exercise faith...pant, pant...and trust the Lord to make all these miracles come about.

Thank you for your faith and prayers. Please keep them coming!  Heaven is listening.
